A Ride to the Highest Road in the World

I've been to two countries...so your doing just fine. I think we should all travel outside our home country as much as possible to see as many different cultures & peoples as possible. I can only imagine how much it opens your mind and gives you a more complete picture of the world we call home.

If there was one album, to make everyone here listen to, what would it be?

Yay!...I got at least 2 music friends on the forum!!!! I will say when I'm not in the mood for "my type" of rock music I've been branching out to some blues. Been on a Joe Bonamassa kick lately. Me & wife are seeing him in concert next weekend. He's really freaking talented and is only 35yrs...

    I honestly didn't know that.

    2013 Owners Tires

I actually had this happen to me for the first time ever owning the FJR with a set of PR3's recently. Those horizontal tread pattern marks were creating small ridges at the compound change line and at 45mph my handlebars were really shaking. Put a new set of BT-023-GT's on and I don't have that...

If there was one album, to make everyone here listen to, what would it be?

Wow...you guys are so old & white its not even funny! LMAO. I grew up in the 80's and yes grew up on big hair 80's bands in High School especially (Def Leppard, Poison, Metallica...etc), but I also listened to Soul / R&B (Al B. Sure, New Edition, Keith Sweat...etc.) But I prefer more modern...

Upsizing Rear Tire to 190/55 (w/ pics)

Got the BT-023-GT 190/55 on rear and did 375 miles on Saturday. Felt fine. It's a tire...it spins round & round like all the other tires I've used before.

    Escalation pull back

I'm still considering that Motorrad plate...I prob should just order the damn thing! lol Thanks! Your never at a loss for words RFH! lol Let me respond your points. 1. I don't do anything special, just a guy with a camera. 2. I'd say every state has it's own version of terrific riding...

    $83 oil change?

Yep...$13 for the filter and you can usually find the Gallon Yamalube on sale like here. (sometimes my dealer discounts it & I always grab it then)

    $83 oil change?

I've always used Yamalube. I don't see the point of other oils when the manufacturer oil works just fine. My Yamaha has always "shifted like butter". That being said the FJR is the EASIEST bike ever designed for you to do your own oil change. You can do it yourself for under $30.00 in about 15...

    Escalation pull back

Escalation pull back “Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated” – Confucius Bigger is always better…right? Typically we think that it is. We can be very hard to satisfy, if we’re ever really satisfied at all. We always want more. That’s not always a bad thing I would...

LOL....yeah I see you live in "Flatistan"...that's funny! Let me know if you head up this way & if I can meet up & ride with you I will. The mountain twisties are addicting that's for sure!

    Trying to make a video

Always nice to relive the good rides & have some good videos of them. I think you did well for your first attempts here. 151 is a great / fun entry road up to the BRP. Nice to see the sun shining and the autumn leafs falling. Good stuff. TFS! I noticed the the vast majority of FJR riders on...

My Impressions of the MV Motorrad Bar Riser

Thinking about getting this plate for my Gen I myself. I wished it had even more pull back than what this plate offers. Hmmmm.
