Info Needed on GoCruise Throttle Lock

7/8" and I am happy with the operation and simplicity. The supplied rubber band goes over your grip and the lever clamps on the band. A real wrist saver when riding across Nevada. No 80 mph limit either.

    Lowest Common Denominators

Holiday weekends always seem to load the roads with people in places that are out of their comfort zone. Never been one of my favorite times to ride.

Black Hills FJR Roundup 2015 - So Far So Good - a few pictures

Black Hills FJR Roundup 2015 - So Far So Good - a few pictures

Hard to believe it's over with. Did Petey make it up there on his FJR?

    Pissed at Progressive

On the other hand, I just talked to a friend 2 nights ago who had totaled his Gold Wing. He said Progressive was the way to go. he couldn't believe how fast and well they settled up. Even drove to his house, looked at his damaged riding gear and wrote a check on the spot.

Why my side case fell off

I used to work on a lot of locks. Tamper proof or security screws are pretty common in the lock industry. It's probably what the lock manufacturer was using and saw no reason to use something different when they got the order from Yamaha.

Do Bridgestone T30's wear faster than 023's?

Spud, I just ran an 023 GT and a T30 GT back to back on the rear. The 023 was hard on the wear bars at 5000 miles. The T30 still had a little life, maybe 500 miles, left at 5750 miles. Of course the roads you ride and other factors can make a huge difference, but that is my experience. I'm...

    A new kind of poser

    Leg Burn

I see a promising market for a creative entrepreneur Brackets for attaching beer can heat shields. By the way, the bottles don't work so good.

    Spearfish Routing? Any Advice

That's Okay. Maybe next time. I thought maybe Petey had warned you about riding with me. Hope the construction on 14 wasn't too big of a pita.

**** happens, if it wasn't for Bad Luck...

Damn Don ! Looks like you cannot buy a break. In your situation I would probably be taking time off from riding 2 or 3 wheelers. It's too hot down there anyway. I'm not a doctor but I would prescribe air conditioning and a cool beverage.

Why my side case fell off

I nominate Wheaton for the Golden Spoon Award for stirring this thread. I thought it was dead but it's alive!

    Spearfish Routing? Any Advice

When will you be coming through Cedar City? I'll probably be here. I would volunteer to ride along with you for a while but the FJR is still waiting on forks right now and if I tried it on the KLR I'd just slow you down. Maybe lunch or something? By the way, before I cancelled my trip, I was...

In that case, you could use a drill.

    Leaky Right Fork Seal

Now you'll have time to do something else in December.

    Leaky Right Fork Seal

I guess a lot depends on the roads you ride. I evidently do not display very good judgement in this regard. Just pulled the forks for a second rebuild at 40,000 miles. 1st was at about 20,000. I wimped out and just took the forks to a shop for a rebuild. I'll let you know how that works out...

SUN6/21 H-D Freewheeler Trike Test Ride-400 miles of N AZ!

Okay, the last trike I rode had pedals when I was 4 yrs old. So on a trike you do not / can not countersteer. Is that correct?
