Took a ride last Saturday and after a few hours after getting home I noticed a few drops of coolent under the water pump and a drop hanging from the bottom of the pump.First time this has happened,has anyone had the rubber o-ring seal on the water pump start leaking out of the blue?

I came home from Dillard Ga. On a bald rear tire I stayed on two lane as much as I could and kept speed around 65. After 300 miles I filled the tank with 5.3 gallons. Thats almost 57 MPG.

I was there two weekends ago, and yes what a blast. Good weather but slow cruisers everywhere. I also turned my OK rear tire into a slick.

I had the same problem, Mine started after ridding it for a while. It was ok riding at speed but when I slowed down or was riding slow ,it bucked and jurked. I had the throttle bodys synchronized and that made a big differance. Yours sounds like mine, it only has twenty seven thousand miles on...

This is what I call the first step. Get comfortable and stay hydrated on the bike.

There is a product that I think White Horse press sells that is just for removing stickers and decals. I have even seen it in bike shops. Also I think one of mini things that WD-40 will do is remove stickers.

I'm looking at replaceing my stock standerd shield on my 03. With several makes out there, which is the best? I had a Cee Bailey before and liked it but I like the look of the V-Stream,. Give me some info.

Today as I was ridding my 03FJR, I started noticeing when I was decelerating slowly the bike started cutting out,like it was misfireing. It idles smooth and ecceleratets good, and running at speed theres no trouble its only dronning along slow where your on and off the gas or going down hill...

I was in a dealership last summer and asked about the 2010 FJR, I was told that he would'nt know if Yamaha would even have a 2010 till the dealer show. Guy told me that sales of the FJR had droped so much over the last few years they may stop production for 2010. Glad to see they did'nt. 2011...

Looking forward to this years Mid-Ohio race due to Doug Pollan making a return to pro racing. Should be interesting to see how an old school vet can hold up to the young guns.

I agree, The AIRHAWK is money well spent. I have had one for years and it works.

You can tell Yamaha has worked themself into a corner with the Gen2 FJR. Now that all the bugs and complaints are fixed, now how to make a flawless bike better. If the new bike has the before mentioned heated grips and seat and maybe a power outlet, that would set the bar for all outher Jap brands.

I was wondering about how far to push it after the last bar starts to flash.
