    2008 FJR1300A in SoCal - $8,500 *SOLD*

All I have is my iPhone right now but this is copy/pasted from my CL ad. I was asking $9k but I am lowering it to $8,500. "I'm posting my 2008 Yamaha FJR1300 up for sale. Bought new from Bert's Megamall and used for commuting mostly, but I have taken it for some afternoon rides up to Big Bear...

    Sears Trunk WTF?

Ok, so after seeing that the Sears trunk fits on the Givi E228 rack in several threads, I went ahead and ordered the smaller one and the Givi rack. Yesterday when I went to put on the trunk, the damn thing doesn't fit because the holes for the rear tabs don't line up with the tabs on the E228...

    GPS Mount

I use this exact mount. It really IS pricey but in retrospect I'm glad I bought it. Its nice having the GPS stationary as opposed to moving with the bars. I've had it for almost a year/8,000 miles and it has held up great so far. My next project is to drill out a couple screw holes to mount...

    R1 exhaust on an FJR?

My FJR was only two weeks old when this happened to me. I was stupid enough to park it slightly downhill without it being in gear. It took a couple seconds for it to creep forward... Luckily, I noticed what was going on and was able to grab the bars and brace it with the side of my leg before...

Carbon Fiber Hexacones on the way...

Thanks for posting that video on youtube, btw. I came across it a few days ago and it was a factor in my decision. I saw the other thread about the bubbling of the carbon fiber and I'm glad to see that Remus rectified the problem. (which was another plus for the company)

Carbon Fiber Hexacones on the way...

She can be hard to buy gifts for. Believe it or not, she wouldn't be interested in either suggestion. (not in to high dollar clothes, and not in to... uhh... machinery) I'm the only one thats easy to please around here, so I'll just stick with that. lol.... I probly should save the link to...

Carbon Fiber Hexacones on the way...

So, today I ordered a set of carbon fiber Hexacones for my '08. Its sort of a leap of faith since I have only seen pics of the titanium version installed on the FJR. I'm half tempted to call and switch it to titaniums, but I'm fighting it. From what I was told, the carbon fiber ones are...
