great reviews of the new ktm rc8 - supposedly has adjustable everything and you can make it very comfy =] and its a true sportbike with no touring intentions

yeap cold hence the startup revs and the low blip revs (well relatively cold, it was ~100F in the garage today)

dont try to run your engine cooler, it isn't designed for it instead try to more efficiently control the heat as it is moved away from the engine - thermal wrap on the pipes or ceramic coat them, free up the flow from the muffler / remove cat converter

i've had great wear and grip with teh diablo strada on my honda 919 and might try them on an fjr if i buy it =]

Hi all, I don't have quite the illustrious experience that the OP has but I too would like to demo an FJR. What I'd do is put you on my 04 Honda 919 and lead me around where ever you want, and I'd bring the cash value of your bike in case something happens. I've been riding for three years...
