Carry some duct tape with you!! When it comes apart, it COMES APART!!! I will be repairing mine in the next day or two and will post some pictures of how I did it!

Just spoke with the guy I bought the bike from... The same thing happened to the other side!!!!! He repaired it with RTV, lots of it he said, so I will be off to the local Walmart to get me a big ole tube of it and pookie that thing up and let her set for a day or two!!! I guess maybe the 100+...

OK, I agree, maybe it was from a previous repair, my question is what kind of adhesive would/should I use to repair it? I looked at Lowe's last night and there are so many different types of glues, silicone, epoxies, etc... It was overwhelming!! Should I take it to a body shop? It seems to me...

While riding today, at around 70MPH, my left side case cover shell separated from the inner part of the bag! The outer shell is connected at the bottom with hinges and therefore just kinda hung there? My question is: Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, what type of adhesive did you use...

It wasn't me!!! But you might see me in the area Feb. 14 - 22 as I will be visiting my folks in Winter Haven and plan on doing some riding there in central Florida!!! I'll be on an '03 (Silver of course) with Texas plates!

I'll be making a trip to central Florida over the Valentine weekend, I am taking my FJR (pending borrowing a trailer)and could bring one back, or take a look at one, somewhere along the way. PM me if you need any assistance as I would be happy to do a Fly and ride from just about anywhere...

Sounds like I could do a fly and ride for you! You fly me to PA, I ride the bike to you in AZ, and then you fly me home to Houston, probably still cheaper than shipping it!

I'm planning the same trip from Houston!!! Was going to do it over the July4th holiday but caged it instead!! Glad I did, the traffic and weather was horrible, didn't look like many people were shying away from the emerald coast to me!!!! Anything you wish you would have done different...
