Aha ..... THAT'S IT :clapping: I kept on moving the plastic frame but everytime was unable to fit slide the chair into the slot below the tank, will try this and see then ....

I know there are 2 positions for the rider seat on the '06, would appreciate help to setting the seat in the "upper" position ... hopefully w/ pics for the slow ones like myself, Thanx :huh:

Thanx a MILLION Alex (Cougar8000), Zoltan, OCFJR and EVERYONE for your valuabale advises ... It now makes sense, went on a couple of rides already since this thread and trying what everyone is mentioning here, need to practice A LOT. I know this ain't the ideal 1st bike, trying to take it easy...

Just came back from a ride to be able to answer that :) Well, it is fine downshifting as the bike is moving. It fails to downshift on the stationary and "almost stationary" state - i.e. < 5 Km/h, that's where the indicator sometimes loses track of which gear it's on and displays "NOTHING"...

It's my 1st bike, I'm afraid however I'm over 15000 miles away from the States, I'm in Dubai, U.A.E. :) Wonder if you been able to downshift more than one gear on the same clutch action even if your bike is stationary, and even when it was just new, mine has less than 50 miles on it still !

I tried now while the bike is parked, I shifted up till 5, sometimes the indicator counter won't indicate the shift count till I rev the throttle high. Same as I downshift, I have to rev the RPM in order to downshift more than one gear while on same clutch action. IS this bec. I'm stationary, do...

Hi Just collected my new FJR1300A from the dealer today, noticed 2 things: 1- If I press the clutch, I can downshift only 1 gear at the time, e.g. if I'm at 5th and running into traffic and want to go to N, I press the clutch then I'm able to go 5 to 4, but not 4 to 3 on the same squeezing...

Surely interested, learned from Umotors the cost is $920 + $60 brackets ... If you give me the OK (and APO address :P ) then I'll have them ordered right away, Thanx ;)

I'm getting my bike next week :clapping: ... already started buying the small farkles (and ofcourse rider gear - see this is my 1st bike ever :yahoo: ) ... Where I'm (Dubai/UAE), we get the European version without the side cases, now these cost approx $1400 at the local dealer who gets...

Guys Can't wait till I get the '07 and getting a good offer on a '06 1300A, besides I prefer the blue color any way :blink: , wonder if anyone spotted any differences other than colors bet. the '06 and '07 ? Thanks :D

We're all ears Dan23 :clapping: ... What's your source for this exciting stuff .. I'm holding myself off an '06 1300A, and would be defintely worth the wait if we see an '07 w/ more muscles (1500cc) ! :P
