Hi, got the cover off this evening, cleaned the casings and the gasket sealer some one else had previously put around the rubber. I then put on new gasket and packed the rubber seal with gasket seal. Now my problem is when I went to tighten all the bolts the one closest to the rubber cable seal...

Thanks for all the help, got a new gasket ordered so will go at it some evening during the week. Just on the stator, my bike has just under 10000 miles, it would hardly be damaged would it already? Thanks again.

Its leaking from the black rubber entering the casing next to the frame, its a very slight weep. Can this be pulled out to sort or does the casing have to be removed. Thanks again

on the left hand side of my motor bike I have a small oil leak which looks like a push in sensor at the top of the casing. can anyone tell me what this wire is for and how can I fix the leak. this is my first fjr. thankyou.
