I doubt it will be updated in Yamaha's system as complete. Since this is classified as a 'safety recall' Yamaha will undoubtedly insist it is performed by an authorized shop.

When I called to make the appointment they told me it would take 30 - 45 minutes. This was my first experience with this dealer since I just moved to the area last summer.

Got mine replaced today, it took 2 techs 3.5 hrs to replace. 🥵
