    Just my luck. I was looking for a sargent seat for a while then gave up. Everybody said it would next to impossible to find one for a Gen 1. They said that i would never find a used one They said So about two months ago Sargent was making them for the Gen1 again so I ordered one (FULL RETAIL)...

    replaced front brake switch. internal part fail with the old one. $35.00 part 10 minute job.

    Servicing relay and pivot arm:how to clean and repack

    Because the swing arm and the dog bone are high pressure parts. I don't like using a grease that will wash out like lithium soap based grease. I pack swing arm bearings and pivot bearings with Yamaha Yamalube Molybdenum Disulfide Grease. It wont wash out and stays put. $0.02

    Almost ready. Tires replace ---- Done Inspect brakes ---- Done Clean calipers ---- Done Oil change ---- Done Check and grease rear hub --- Done Neck bearing check and torque --- Done And anything else I cant remember right now. I'm going on a side trip to FLA. to see Dad then WV.

    Tires arrived on Friday (yesterday). I ordered on Thursday from Revzilla.  Bridgestone BT023 front $130 and rear $180. + U.S . Government user fee. Free ride.

    1500 mi there and back plus riding around West Virginia. Do I have enough tread left? And no I don't know how many are on the tires now. Then that little voice in my head talks about  Better safe then sorry.
