Just started disassembling my 05 FJR, for putting some blue 80mm halos in the headlight assembly. I'll update when I've got them in!

Alright got them in today. All I have left is to install a switch for them to the battery tomorrow. Other than that here's the end result! Please excuse the massive pictures, I didn't want to resize them.

1. Took the housing apart (Put in oven @ 300 for 5 minutes to separate the seal)

2. The Halo installed - Drilled hole, installed rubber, hot glued 4 points of halos to lens, route wires

3. Reassembled bike

4. Light it up

5. Install switch to control when they are on

I assume that they are designed to go that close to a halogen bulb? Hope the heat doesn't kill them. Or soften the glue that holds them in place.

I like the look.

Nice job. I'd prefer a white color rather than the blue. I assume that the headlights normally run at the same time unless you put them on a switch.

I'm aware of the laws here in colorado and I haven't had issues in the past with lights, even with getting pulled over. I put them on a switch so if I need to I can shut them off. The running lights still come on all the time which kind of reduces the blueness of the rings as well.
