'06 AE On the Truck?

I ordered my '06 AE on the 28th of September IIRC. My dealer (Eastside Cyle, Tucson, AZ) says, "It's on the truck." Hmm... I wonder if this is like, "The check is in the mail." Or, maybe I will see it in a seek or so. Anybody else getting delivery information?

The '06A's have been here for about a month now so the AEs should be showing up pretty quick. I'd believe them. If it's not on the truck surely it should at least be on the boat by now.

I think that sums it up pretty well. If it the dealer contacted Yamaha (or vice versa), and it was actually on the truck, then they should have a delivery date and you would get a pickup date. You chain has probably been yanked a wee bit.

Hope I'm wrong. Supposedly the bikes are beginning to trickle out to dealerships, but for the most part, it's probably going to be July before they really start "hitting the shelves".

D&H told me sometime in July. And that's after the Yamaha dealer festivities at the end of June. I'm wondering if that's not part of the holdup, too. D&H is closing during that meeting, and then also they get a long weekend through the 4th.

After the dealer told me my 06A was "on the truck" took it a week to travel the 160 miles from the warehouse. Now after a month and 3000 miles all is good.

Pat at Sunnyside told me yesterday that he saw my AE was on its way on Friday, it showed at the dealership yesterday.

Rick, unfortunately no. I think Sunnyside only ordered two AE's, and the other one as I remember from my conversation with Pat from a few weeks ago, was scheduled for July delivery. I am hoping I am remembering that wrong. I would give him a call.

Update: The truck definitely stopped in Irvine. There is an AE on the floor at Mission Motorsports, with a sold tag hanging on it.
