I'm lucky, with my seat in the up position I can dangle my legs and my feet remain about 1/2" off the ground. Great stretch !

Looks like they simply picked one model from each manufacturer - and the Venture Transcontinental is likely more comfortable that FJR (although I have never tried one) - so that might explain why FJR is missing here...

After reviewing the article and the list of finishers in the 2017 IBR, the following were on both. I would have thought the list would be longer than 3????

• BMW K1600
• Honda Goldwing
• HD Electra glide/Road glide

Maybe Motorcycle.com should have put a 2003 Kawasaki EX 250 on their LD list. The person who finished 21st road one of those. (must be a tough guy)
