Just got back from our 14 day trip out to TN. Guess no one missed me, but here are a few observations:

Cee Baily +4 X +4 windscreen...A definite +4.

Corbin Seat...perhaps not broken in yet, but ALOT better than the stock unit.

Bag liners..Very Nice.

Throttle rocker saved the day for sure. Did not have time to install a throttle lock, but will before next trip.

Looks like I will have to try out a set of them risers. Height not really a problem, but the angle of the bars is just too swept back for me and caused me some pain.

The Dragon - Yeah, was cool, but enjoyed riding just about any road in the area, especialy the roads south west of Maryville along Telico Lake.

Who had the silver FJR sans bags but with the top case riding through Gatlingburg last sunday?

Anyway, great trip and the bike , other than the bar angle..was a joy to ride on. Loaded bags, top case and passenger , the bike never complained. Very happy with choosing this excellent machine.

I rode through the dragon on the way back from picking up my bike the first time. Went from Atlanta to Northern Va...a great way to learn what ails you on the bike. The bars killed me...I didnt even realize it until the next morning when I could barely move...took about a month to recover!!! My ass didnt like the stocker either...it was getting so bad I'd have to stop after an hour or ride standing up. But now with Helirisers and a Russell seat...it is truly a joy to ride and ride and ride...

Haven't rode the dragon but I am looking forward to it. Seen a Goldwing on-line dragging the pegs all the way down!

I had the same problem... I installed the Motorcycle Larry 6 degree risers. It raises the bars a bit, but more importantly, rotates the grips 6 degrees outward. The site states that they don't fit an '06... but I would ping him and ask him if/when he'll make them.
