Right or wrong, I have always been very leary of buying any older vehicle with extremely low miles. It might be different if I could get a years warranty with it an have enough time to identify any problems. In this case, the price is beyond way too much, there are brand new leftover FJRs at that price.....and good catch on the tires, another expense that a new leftover will not have.

isn't that a 2005?
You mean, just like the thread title says?

yep...but the Ebay add is for a 04...WTF?

I was just about to put in a bid when I saw the scratched side cover and the lock missing from the top case. Probably just as well, stinkin' California requires 7500 miles to register an out of state bike. Guess a guy could do a fly and buy transaction routed to Key West then home. Nice looking scoot, wish I could afford to keep around a spare one.

It took this person 10 years to figure out that they would not ride much? fishy fishy

Did you guys look at the other machines ... 3 big tourers (2 HD one BMW) all with bushtec trailers...

Think he bought out a collection somewhere?

He's got very nice shrubberies...

isn't that a 2005 listed as an 04?
Its obviously a 2005 based on color and VIN but many were manufactured in 2004. I'm guessing he is reading what is on the VIN sticker mfg date. It's going to be around until the seller's price delusion gives way to some reality.

Those look like Pilot Roads (1) to me.

It's a ticker.

and it's the ugly blue
No, it's the Bodacious and Beautiful Bass Bote Blue. You own the muted ugly blue, Joe.

The guy is probably a flipper. He found these nearly new bike and thinks he'll find a buyer that will pay him that much coin.

He very well may do that based on the Barnum principle.

This guy is out of his ever-loving mind! $10,900? You can ask it but that doesn't mean someone will pay it. I would rather have a one owner bike with 20K miles that has been serviced and cared for. At least it's a good color.

Must be a great Cush hybrid he's smoking. And at that price, he's looking for a buyer who's similarly altered.

I was gonna bid $100, but then realized the STARTING BID is $10,900. That's crazy talk. A little less than 1/2 that sounds reasonable. He'll figure it out.

You know... somewhere there is a BMW rider who wants to do well as an Iron Butt Rally Rider, they are looking for the "BUY NOW" button at this very moment.

Compared to the prices they usually pay, this is a sweet deal.

Heard this at a used car dealership once...

"there's a seat for every *** and an *** for every seat"
