I just got this interesting e-mail:

"BrunDog,

rhody has sent you this email from https://www.fjrforum.com/forum//index.php.

As I said in my post, I have been following users feedback on the EFI, for a couple of months, since you only

you obviously don't have a personality and have trouble making and keeping friends. Everyone else on this thread

has been very helpful. Go play somewhere else or I'll have the webmaster spank you.

Hmmmm.

I am sure the webmaster could explain to Mr. rhody that the forum was only created back in early June. Likewise, I am sure the webmaster could help Mr. rhody go back and read his original post, which makes no mention of his following previous posts. Plus, the webmaster could likely point out that while my ~400 posts isn't TWN league, I have been an active participant here without any warnings or bans. In addition, I am also of the firm belief that had Mr. rhody clicked on the little Search icon, he would have found more than his share of surging commentary. Finally, I am quite certain that the webmaster, and everyone else for that matter, would find this an inapproprite action by someone with 4 posts and zero contribution to this forum.

Move on, jacksqueeze. On the forum, and the bike, too.

I would like to thank all of the folks who took the time to answer the question. You have convinced me to see for myself if there is smoothness issue, which from the replies seems only to be for a small number of owners, and take it from there.

Thanks again...

Getting crapped on by someone with 'why don't you search for it' seems to be a rite of passage for N00bs on this site.

Apparently every bit of technical knowledge about the FJR is already enshrined in this site and every question worth asking has already been asked and answered--world without end, amen.

Welllll..........As to the topic, I added the PC to Frank not really because of a bad surge or anything, just as a further evolutionary move towards the perfect machine. It was a step further.

As for the other, on the one hand, a search would have revealed reams of info on this very topic, on the other, Scythian is right, if we can't keep talking 'bout ****, might as well make this a reference site, and close the forums altogether. FNG's PM, exposed or not, seems pretty provacative considering BD's response, which was not all that hardcore in my view. Not a warm fuzzy, but didn't warrant the PM. BD is right, this joint just opened last June, and FNG gots no right to be rippin on the regulars, and should maybe have reconsidered acting on impulse the way he did. ;)

As only a slight tangent to the topic, the only problem I see with PCIIIs (other than the cost and the possibility of screwing things up if you play with the settings too much) is it's the first thing you have to remove if you suspect a problem and especially before you take the bike back to the dealer with a problem.

I've gotten quite adept at R&R my PCIII while checking for heat, vibration and poor-running conditions (that may have all been due to an improperly set Throttle Position Sensor).

It's off right now and I'm debating where it's worth the trouble to reinstall.

But if anyone near St Louis wants one installed, I can do it now in about 15min if the tools are out :assasin:

Since I already broke the rules, here he goes again:

BrunDog,

rhody has sent you this email from https://www.fjrforum.com/forum//index.php.

Like I said, "You obviously don't have a personality and have trouble making and keeping friends."

People who write stuff like this make my point,

"Move on, jacksqueeze. On the forum, and the bike, too."

You don't have enough class to settle things one on one.

You need to air your dirty laundry in public because it makes you feel important.

If "Go play somewhere else or I'll have the webmaster spank you" really bothers you then you really have some problems.

I don't air my opinions of others on public forums like you did, It was your choice to air yours, and it is pitiful.
