**Bike SOLD on Dec 15th, 2012**

This is for a loaded 2006 FJR AE with 32125 miles. As you can see I bought a new bike and I am ready to let the FJR go. The price is $7499 and it includes the following:

Bill Mayer heated seat with 2 levels (high and low) of heat for both front and rear wrapped in leather!

Penskie Suspension for front and rear

HeliBars Triple Clamp Handlebars

Cal-Sci Tall +5.5 Windshield

Dual HID lights that are nothing short of amazing at night

Autovox cruise control that self adjusts for hills to keep speed unchanged

Full Autocom set up and I am throwing in these Nolen helmets with Autocom already wired in if you want them

Kenwood radio under the seat wired for bike to bike communication with the push of a button!

Yamaha Top Case with the metal bracket on the bottom added!

Smart Tire tire pressure monitoring system for both air pressure and heat in both tires that will alert you when air is running low

Peg lowering kit for both front rider and rear passenger with larger aftermarket pegs for the pillion.

Wireless Dual Portable Heat-troller wired for front rider, and wireless Dual Portable Heat-troller for pillion. Not cheap!

Aftermarket freeway pegs

Helmet locks on both sides of the bike that are keyed to the same key you use to start your bike. Great for long rides when your bike is loaded and you need a place to store your helmets

Skyway Sliders

Voltmeter added with switch

Pigtail that allows you to charge the battery when not in use

PR2 tires with only 2000 miles on them

Zumo 660 with the metal bracket that will allow you to take phone calls and listen to music. This was about $1000 with lifetime maps and is included. (small plastic part on power button missing)

Aftermarket R1 mirrors that allow you to see behind you much better than the stock mirrors

Very nicely equipped and a great price. Good luck!

I was wondering what you used for the helmet locks keyed to the bike. Got a link or more details? Thanks.

You could sell off farkles and get 1/2 your asking price :clapping:
Yes I was considering that but I want to pass it along to a good home the way she sits and not put a lot of time into this sale. If I do not sell it within a week I will start stripping down the bike. Thanks.

To be honest I bought them in 2007 and forgot where I got them? I do remember asking a locksmith to help me to key the lock for me so the ignition key worked.

I already got 2 calls and people coming by tomorrow!! :yahoo: :yahoo:

Excellent!

I hope one of them rides it home - you are so darn close and I so happily married and I don't want to weaken and mess it up!

It's a beautiful machine, beautifully farkled and a great price.

(Holy poop, Batman. I just noticed that today is my second anniversary on this board. Maybe that's a sign? Or just pent-up FJR lust.)

Ah ya went up to the Cadillac of sport-tourers.... K1600GTL

TRAITOR!

 haha, just kidding and- EXCELLENT CHOICE! and I just may know of another ***** just like you who model-up'd :yahoo: but I went with the GT, my sporty side of me wanted the additional lean angle and throatier exhaust.

Good luck with your sale and I agree the HID's are an amazing addition, my best farkle by far for my '09 Feej.

If you feel the itch and think the marriage can handle it come on down. Let me be the first to wish you a happy 2-year anniversary. :yahoo: :yahoo:

Ah ya went up to the Cadillac of sport-tourers.... K1600 (looks like the GTL or you added the LED fogs to the GT). I know the dark metallic gray is avail for both models in '13

Yes, I picked up the GTL with retty much everything and a few extra I asked them to add. The HIDs are one of the best things you can do to a bike if you have the one you love on the back and do a lot of night riding.

Don't wanna sidetrack the sale for your FJR (does give you a "bump" however!), but how is the transition going from what I believe was an awesome option 'AE' back to the clutch handle? I Got so use to it, and the only option I'm thinking I will miss badly.

I LOVED my AE and the only way to make the GTL a better bike would be to make it an AE! Yamaha really made the system work great and I am really going to miss it.

So am I.....NOT....

R
I was talking to someone who sounds like they could be the new owner today and he wanted to know if I could get your contact information so he can continue to have it worked on by you? I told him how much you loved putting in the HIDs on the AE. Both of my prospective buyers moved the date to Tuesday and Wednesday?

My exact same thought as well and sounds like you have your AE sold.. NICE! :D

Doooood --

The suspense is killing me -- has anyone recognized the incredible value that is your bike and bought it?

Enquiring minds want this BTT.
