There is a 2006 FJR1300A sitting at Metro Cycles in Lithia Springs just west of Atlanta thats available. I spoke to Ivan Johnson (Sales Dude) and he said they were asking $13,500.

Like I said months ago, people will walk off the street and buy a FJR while the waiters wait. All those months of anxiety for nothing.
+1

Took delivery on my '05 in late March '05. I waited a day for them to prep it, but that's it. But I've heard waiting builds character. I just didn't need any more, gots plenty already! :haha:

Depends on price - if a person walks off the street and pays $13,500 (+TTL) for an A model and I wait a little while for a AE for $13,200 (+TTL), I would say it is WORTH the wait (in terms of $$$$s)!

Best Regards,

Shane

YEah, however, if someone walks intot a stealership and buys one off the floor for $10,200 ($11,999 MSRP) like I did my 05 in October 04, then is it still worth waiting?

I bought my '05 at Metro Cycles just outside of Hotlanta. I didn't even know about the whole PDP thing until after I joined here.

Depends on the person's emotional state at the moment :D ! For me, it is still worth it because:

1) I have a GL1800 that I can ride while I wait.

2) I WANT a FJR1300, but I don't NEED one!

It is mainly #1 that RULES in my case.

Best Regards,

Shane

+1. I have 3 other's to ride, so i'll wait for the AE (been patiently waiting since 10/05). Sometimes you wait -- and get burned, sometimes ya don't.
