2006 Fork Springs on a 2005 ABS

Has anyone ever done this mod. I'm planning on installing Promoto Progressive Fork Springs designed for a 2006 FJR 1300 (Stiffer on the bottom end) on to my 2005 ABS Front Forks. Any and all help on the matter will be greatly appreciated. :evilsmiley:

Springs are interchangeable between all years of FJR's but anytime you change springs you may also have to change spacer lengths and oil height. There is also a reason why all the top suspension companies use straight rate springs.
