And one last abhorrent sight. I couldn't post it in it's full size, as everyone would have had to claw out their eyes.
This is NWS and not suitable for small children. Or anyone for that matter. Other than that, no comment.

NOTE: Photo removed to save our eyes from further turmoil.
"What happens in Gerlach stays in Gerlach". NOT!! I don't know how you managed to capture that horrid full-moon photo of the oh-so-elusive Albino Black Rock Desert Yeti, but wait until you see the front-view one I got as it "streaked" by me in a "flash"!. Stay tuned, film at 11.

My eyes!!!! :dribble: :dribble:

I blew the photo up to see if I could determine who this guy is, but apparently, someone tried to put one of those "black bars" over the important identifying features:

Yeah, I believe this was when you were explaining that there were some 'particulates' in your drink.
Yep, that'd be an accurate statement:

The only thing that bummed me out is that all the drunks who were already on the veranda there before I arrived had pretty much wiped out most of the alcohol, and that was my only drink..... no more to be had.

Silly string tastes like industrial ****, BTW.....

And some really can't hold their liquor!

I'm so glad no expense or effort was spared in creating a sufficiently large and opaque square to preserve what tiny shred of dignity I had. And it's clear had this naive hope that at least some things that happen in Gerlach are supposed to remain in Gerlach.

You are lucky your **** just wasn't streamed to the 'Net.....

Who knows, maybe next year we'll have a live streaming camera....

Here's what happens when you drink all the liquor before Warchild gets his share. You get the two-fingered salute, one finger at a time:

Yeah right.... It only stays in Gerlach as long as it does because there is such shotty internet service there. Otherwise it'd be out the moment it happens!

The only good forest rat is a burned forest rat:

Forest rat, I fart in your general direction, then I walk on your flea-infested ashes (while casually playing pocket-pool)! And my wife wondered why I smelled like smoke when I got home.

I had to poke my eyes with hot pokers to get that image out of my head...

Now THIS is some good ****. This is what living is all about. Small matter that I just threw up in my mouth a little from one pic... outside of that, this is all good stuff.

Some bikes just don't belong on the playa....

HEY! Be nice to the lone Hyperbike!

And show a little respect! This road beast was a 0-mile, brand-new bike when purchased in late Nov, 2007. On the way home Gerlachfest on Sunday, I passed through this little milestone..... 30,000 miles on the odometer!

25,000 miles of this had been since last April....... B)

Thankfully, the ravioli stayed with me a while. Sadly, a piece of it just came through my nose looking at this thread.
