FWIW, I rode 536, 556 and the northern end of 26 on Sunday. All are in reasonably good condition.
Thanks for the report...that's great news about 556...however, I thought all the cross road sewer work had chopped up 536 with some wide patches...or something like that????
Mark, trust me...536 aint what it used to be...you can still do it, but it's not nearly as much fun as before they "F'd" it up.

Mark, I just found out for sure that I am working Fri, Sat & Sun that weekend. I am really bummed to be missing this years ramble. I had a blast last year.

Y'all have fun and ride safe!

Sorry to hear that Paul...maybe next time. Enjoyed your great 48+ LD ride report.

Some of the patched areas were a little slick...I thought they made it more interesting
Sounds like you're my kinda guy! :clapping:

;)

Well, I will put out the final Ramble route soon, hoping to include both 255 and 556. I know that makes the route long...but I love both of those roads, and would feel bad to miss either one of them since I seem to only pass through here once a year. :(

If others are getting tired from all the curvy roads at the end of the day, just head back to the motel and keep a beer cold for me when I get in from a great day of SE Ohio riding. :)

I am in it for the duration. Someone else will have to get the beer! <_<

I'm sure that the gas station next to the hotel has beer...I'll need a cigar & a beer before heading home

Hey Mark...are you gonna have the nice laminated turn sheets like you had last year? If so...I'll take one of those

Joe,

Since I got my gps this past spring, I may not be doing turn sheets....they are a ton of work to weedle down to size the S&T turn direction info.

HOWEVER, I might still.

Best bet is to grab your Ohio map (like I will as a back up) and I we will walk through the route, I usually write turn arrows on my map at junctions.

No problem Mark...just figured I'd ask...I'll be following somebody anyway, so I guess it really doesn't matter

We'll go over the route Friday Saturday night at the motel....and I'll post something up here before hand.
