I guess I might as well post this here too!

Since the acquisition of my FJR, I have found that I don't ride the NC700X very much. I've only put about 200 miles on it since September. It's been a fantastic bike, great for commuting, canyons, and camping. The gas mileage is phenomenal at 65mpg average. I have had as low as 50 while doing 85mph into a headwind, and as high as 89mpg doing 40-50mph through twisty mountain roads.

The bike is well-maintained, but has been used. It's had a few drops doing u-turns on uneven gravel roads, but the handguards do a good job of keeping the plastics off of the ground. It has lots of upgrades including aftermarket bars, risers, and handguards; a custom seat; Givi rear rack and trunk (E46) with LED running, brake, and turn signals; and Cogent emulators and springs. The fake tank/trunk is fantastic storage, and has wired USB plugs and lights inside.

Bike has 20k miles, mostly from weekend trips and multi-day adventures. I am the original owner, and have clean title in hand.

Let me know if you have any questions, or if you would like more pictures.

Asking $3700 obo

I've always liked these bikes since I first saw them. Put a set of DOT knobbies on that and it would make a nice, inexpensive ADV tourer.

It really does well for being ~500lbs. Since the center of gravity is so low, it handles like a much lighter bike. It still sucks trying to pick it up if it tipped over downhill

There are quite a few guys over on the ADV forums that have put on TKC80s and done BDR trips through Idaho, Colorado, and Utah. I did just fine with street tires on fire roads and jeep trails.
