I was planning on going ccw which would put the BBQ place too late for lunch. If you look at the route you will see a way point for lunch at the Roscoe Dinner. I suppose if everyone wants BBQ then we can run the route CW.
Put'n in my vote for...

Th Roscoe Diner is fine. They have a very large menu so there should be something for everyone.

Well Roscoe Diner it is.

It doesn't really matter which way we go. The deciding factors were the Roscoe Diner has a good selection of good food, and they have plenty of room for us. They actually have a section they use for big groups. The other thing is for those of us doing both days may not want BBQ on both days, because the Friday lunch is BBQ.

i have a room w/ 2 beds reserved for thur/fri/sat at the hotel with the group rates. lost my roommate so am looking for another. give me a holler and we can work it out.

Have you folks confirmed a direction for the Cats part of the trip? (CounterClockWise is the impression I got)

I have some things up in the air... so dunno if i can make the whole trip(or even any part), but if I may and can, I'm only live 9 miles west from one point on your route, and I'd like to try and join in along the way. (Not asking anyone to stop and wait... just trying to see if i can time it right to join in)

If it's not set yet, I'll just stay tuned, watch, and learn.

Thanks, it would be nice to meet you all.

Yes, CCW for the CATS and CW for the Daks is what I have on my routes.

Any idea about what time or place we should keep an eye out for you?

I wouldnt ask anyone to wait up, as i have no idea at all if I can get freed up Sat.. kids, possible work, etc... but I want to, and if some "me time" becomes available, I'd love to go for a ride !

I have a friend with a Connie that would love the ride too.

Thanks :)

(Mon.. work for sure, busy time for me)

OK. Looks like your best bet is to catch us at the gas station in Grand Gorge in the morning, or at the Roscoe Diner for lunch. Hope to see you.

Looks like we're going to have a small group this year, but still want to talk about groups. With only 8 on fri & 11 on sat, there will only be 2 groups. Oh yeah, there may be a few locals going but not sure. I was going to have 3 groups, but not enough bikes so 2 groups it is.

The 2 up group - posted limit to 10 over, sight seeing, picture taking

The aggressive group - 30 over limit !, no pics or sight seeing, good tires & suspension, have your **** together, Hooligans

Not enough demand for;

The spirited group - 20 over limit, no pics, less sight seeing

If this doesn't work we will adjust accordingly. Either slow down the aggressive group to spirited or move riders from one group to another. I don't want anyone out of there comfort zone. So choose the correct group for you.

3 weeks to go. gitty up.

I just made a small change to the Cats route. So make sure you get the latest version. The routes are posted in post 1.

2 weeks to go. hoping for good weather.

Hehehe... and make sure your brakes are good ;) the Platte Clove road is steep. (and beautiful)

I was in the spirited group last year, now with my seatcover (g/f) I guess I roll back to the 2-uppers. Oh well, tires are probably just so-so anymore anyways. Site-seeing is good as long as we can have a little fun here n there ;)

Hey TS1... I wonder if they have a little picture of you in a doghouse to use instead of the jailbird one we get to see now?

Man, I hope i can make this trip ;)
