So this means the seller takes a $5k hit for 450 miles? So at $100 a mile discount this is a killer deal.

I do so regret my '08 FJR purchase… I could have had a V-8 (Colored FJR)

Seriously? The Peoples Republic of California won't let you register an out of state purchased bike with less then 7k on the odometer. WTF!?!

What about a 3rd party "Purchase" with a transfer once the extra mileage is obtained?

Interesting thought. My brother lives in Oklahoma City, you know.

I suppose we'd both have to pay tax on the sale, of course. Damn, still sounds pretty complicated.
