Congrats longrider. I did actually talk to the seller. Seems he was a truck driver, and answering strange phone numbers was not his priority on the road. Fyi, I couldn't get to see it until Sunday, so I lost out. :(

I'm very glad this great deal found a taker on the FJR Forum. What a great resource for all of us for so many things. I'd have loved that bike, and in fact I was so bummed when it turned out I couldn't import it into this ******** state, I realized that only another 2014 would ever make me feel better.

I feel better now. Congratulations to long rider!

I took the bike out for a quick 50 mile ride. As much as I liked my Silver 2010 FJR - this bike is that much sweeter. Thanks a lot for the responses.

Just so everyone who was commenting on this bike knows, it was the real deal. I purchased the bike for $10,000.00. He reduced it by $500.00 because it will need the 600 mile service. And I drove from Florida to pick it up. Bike is in prestine condition.
Wow, you got the deal of the Gen-three-oration!! $9500 is less than half what I had to pay for my 2014ES out -the-door. That truck driver either needed money badly or he was totally naive of the bike's value.i

It was $10,000. And the 3rd at that price with similar miles I have seen in the last year. Who knows how many I have not seen. Screaming deals like that don't come up very often, but every once in a while...... and you got to be ready to pounce *right now*.

That's how I plan on acquiring a 2016 ES.

So, the only good news is that Longrider got a great deal and I saved 10 grand, which I plan to use for charm and manners school.

:)
