Finished my first weekend of riding in the tour as well. Even though the skies were clear all day, I got chilled early and never really quit quivering until after I returned home. However, it's great to see what effort some of these small towns put forth to honor their lost sons.

Humbling to say the least. I might have to ride this event in the years to come as a reminder that freedom hasn't come cheap.

Congrats Phil on your 1st Place finish in Ohio.

21 sites so far. Took a three day trip up to UT and NV at the beginning of April when the sites were released. Picked up third place for UT. The temps were colder than I expected in NV, so I had to skip a few stops to keep to my time schedule. Mid-April, I did an Iron Butt ride to Yuma, San Diego, Victorville, and Indian Springs. Planning another 3 day ride to visit the sites in CO and NM in June.

This guy managed to squeeze in a half hour pit stop yesterday..

He's making good time and looks like he'll get home before the bad weather they claim is coming in.

Good to see ya Mike

Hmm Looks like I was wrong..

Been checking Mikes spot throughout the day and he's almost home but accue weather says he's getting wet.

Good job Mike

Home safe n sound. Almost missed the bad stuff but not quite. Intense but short lived.

Was great to see you guys again Bust. Wouldn't have felt quite right to nail down Michigan without a visit.

Finished the TOH for Nebraska the first weekend of April. Planning on visiting a few more sites but most likely not an entire state. I am headed to Hyder AK in a couple of weeks and want to collect a few sites on my way back.

A trip to Hyder would be fun. Enjoy the ride JSaul.

We are into our last month of this rally. I'm gonna miss it when it's over.

I suppose it won't hurt none though to finally get to that Honey-Do list.

This was my first year but I can assure you, it won't be my last. Beyond the fun I've had doing it, my wife and I took some friends along for a few stops. I'm hoping next year some of them will sign up and explore on their own.

I'm in again next year for sure, although I've been informed that I'll be working about 30% more in 2016. Damn job sure gets in the way.
