Without even being asked, I was told that a sale was in progress and they were taking $3,000 off of list. Gulp! Do they know what they have? So the price to me was $14,990 and with all taxes (8.3%!) and charges the out-the-door price was $17,403.17. I am happy!

That bike looks great with the desert background! <img src='

$14,990 + $1,244.17 (8.3% tax) = $16,234.17. That leaves $1,169 unaccounted for. What else did they charge you for? Y.E.S., Shipping, assembly, etc? $14,990 is $1k less than the best price I've heard of and less that the estimate dealer cost for that model! That's one heck of a deal!!
Looks like he paid $16,069 + tax. That's pretty close to the D&H deal at $16,000 without the road trip or freight charge from Alabama.

Agreed. I was just curious how this dealer presented it starting out with a base price of $14,990.

Tags and title probably $300 - $400. Add in a dealer doc fee of $250, and set up fee of a couple hundred and there you go.
