I've been a diehard Broncos fan ever since the Packers were eliminated. If the Broncos get beat, then I will be a diehard fan of whichever team plays New England.

While it was nice to see the Chefs win a playoff game, the Texans never should have even been in the playoffs. The same might have been said of that "team from Washington DC." (what better location is there to be politically incorrect?)
Fred, who is this "Chefs" team. You're thinking of smoking again, aren't you?

I've called them the Chefs since that commercial first aired. 😎

I'll go ahead and predict a NE win in the AFC. I would predict a Panthers win in the NFC game, if not for their 2nd half play in the last game. That, and the Cardinals play calling late in the last game, showing they aren't afraid to take chances. The NFC game 'should' be the better game to watch.

Nice to see Denver beat the Pats. Sorry Pats fans. Payton can't win the Super Bowl, but Denver's defense could. Carolina looks good against the Cardinals. This may be Cam's year. Go Steelers! I mean......Go Whoever!

Hard to be a Cardnials fan right about now.......but hey, it ain't over yet.

Edit: after the most recent gift from Palmer, wish it was over.

I don't believe the Browns were in the playoff boat this year. Maybe you're thinking of some other boat. I'm not into the nautical scene all that much though. If the Browns were in a boat, it must have had quite a hole in the bottom of it.

I was glad to see the Patriots go down. Apologies to FYB, but even the sting of last week did not make me a fan.

Arizona is going down hard, so we know Carolina and Denver are the Super Bowl contestants.

Talk about not having a dog in the fight!

If you bet on Denver to win the Super Bowl and they actually win, you'll be a rich man. Carolina is the bomb. It's nice to see the home teams win today. Good for all the fans who showed up to witness their home team come away with a win. This Carolina game is a bit ugly to watch. The Panthers offense played well enough to win without the Cardinals handing them the ball time after time. I think I've gotta root for Cam and the boys in 2 weeks. They deserve a Super Bowl win.

Burnspot: "The Broncos have had a pretty oddball season and it'll be a miracle if they make it to the Super Bowl...but one can hope."

Yes, one could hope.

Bronco's are in, and now so are the Panthers. Nobody left to root for this year.

It was hyped as "Brady vs Manning" but it was really a defensive battle and THEY were the real stars. No fan of Payton but as a Jets fan I'll even root for Dallas (ugh) against NE.

Meanwhile, the Panthers chewed Arizona up and spat them out. The Cards coach told his team Carolina is weak in the 2nd half. But he forgot to tell the Panthers!

I went to UNC so I'm a 'Heels fan so that means I'm for the Panthers to win the Superbowl.

I'm bummed that the Patriots Lose thread was locked. That was a subject matter that deserved its own thread just to see what other lame excuses FredW and Ionbeam could come up with. As BeemerDons would have said, "Pats fans - you can't live with them and you can't live with them. JSNS".

PS - I didn't watch the football games because the women's curling bonspiel was far more exciting.

The Steelers season has ended. That makes them losers in the end...just like the Browns
