2018 FJR Details Released

Regarding matte paint, my F6B Deluxe is matte pearl white.

I clean it with Honda spray cleaner and polish.

It cleans up easily and looks great.

Honda spray cleaner and polish costs $6 to $8 per can depending on the store. One can lasts a good while, even with all the bug debris that has to be removed here.

I also use microfiber cloths. No difference in cleaning ritual between glossy red Tiger Explorer and matte white F6B.

Oh man! I love it..... you can obviously tell that, depending upon the light, the blue will show itself differently. The pic besides the 'Busa is really good. Would love to see it outside in natural light. But I will soon enough! Yup..... I'll take one of those FJR shop shirts too..... if you're listening Yamaha!?!

I received an e-mail from Plexus this morning. They claim that their product is a good option on matte paint.

I use that on the front fender of my 2013. It's a type of matte finish. Works great.

It was a little higher number than I would have thought, getting the bike this early: 000619

Amazingly, when I scored the '13 bike almost exactly 5 years ago this week, it was number: 000013

The freeken seat should have been done in Matt blue also. I am sure it will be replaced with a Russell before long.

My '16 which was delivered in March was number 000039. I haven't heard of anyone else picking up an '18 yet. Surprising your's is that high??
