First big ride in over a Covid related year, last on Big Bear with Barries Boyz, but it wasn't really a 'big' ride. Decided to spent fewer daily miles, have more stops. It's good to get away from the Hondarosa for a bit, get some space, clear the mental background processes with some riding and alone time.
Fires are everywhere in the West now. For first time in history, not one but two fires have crossed the 'natural' Sierra-Nevada mountain boundary. Dixie and Caldor fires still rage, weeks later.
Decided to ride Naomi, the 2013, 32k+ mile FJR instead of KrZy8, a 2006 with 248,000 miles. KrZy8's cruise control quit, and even though she's running great, the idea of going far on oem wheel bearings and under acceptable thickness rotors, etc. etc. led to the Naomi getting the call.
EDIT
Too much work to cut and paste and make it all look good.
