Mike is about 1 hour SE of Nashville
He will have to stay at it hard until late tonight to make the Pines2Palms on time.
Plus side is he should have good roads (Slabs) for some good timing.

It sure looks like Mike's time/mileage is close to (maybe exceeding) what is needed for a BB1500. I not sure with what is is on the tracked site, but it's a great ride either way.
And it's only showing 70 in Atlanta when this post was made!

Judging from his tracks he must have hit that big red storm cell just as it passed over I-75. The good news is he's probably past it by now.

This time of year Key West is not an easy task.
On the flip side, Mike is closing in on the Florida Turnpike.
And I just got my local firefighters to sign for my start...
This is Joy writing for Mike. Mike called to tell me he is sitting in a long line of traffic - must be an accident ahead of him. He's is FL - on his way to Tony's place. Hopefully he won't be sitting in traffic for hours! Would be a shame not to make the Pines to Palms after all he's ridden through!

Let's see, couple of bungi cords, two FJR's, one dead, one a working 08. Strap them together and strap Mike to the dead one. I think that'd count as riding to KW, even if unconscious.
