I feel out of touch. I had not heard of speeding cameras. I knew of the red light cameras. Speeding cameras suck.https://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060812/od_nm/speeding_dc_2

Wouldn't the camera need to hit you with radar or laser to find out if you are speeding, before taking your picture? I'm thinkin' a radar detector would pretty much take care of that issue.I just spent a couple of weeks in Japan. My Japanese colleague had a solar powered radar detector in his Range Rover that also had a built in GPS and speed camera database. So, the thing would beep to warn you that you were approaching a speed camera. How cool is that?
They are everywhere here in the UK. Supposed to be only where there are accident black spots. Quite often positioned 200 yards apart so that when you think you are through the zone and accelerate again the next one gets you, sometimes 3 at a time. They are real big in the UK. Just starting to come here.

Sorry, I had a problem loading the link page. Maybe I'm missing some data.
Wait until the new cars come equipped with GPS and a ticket printer. As soon as you violate, your ticket spits itself out of the dash. It'll even work for stop signs.Wait until the cops figure out how to use GPS and give tickets. So everyone that has GPS and rides for fun , trips or a group ride there could be a ticket waiting for you at lunch where ever you are riding.
