Sharon,

Nice reading! And good timing, too! Just in time for NAFO and my trip with just my wife doing the entire BRP the saturday that starts NAFO.

Got the rider first aid package deal all set? ;)

Thanks for posting!

Skyline Drive / Blue Ridge Parkway remain some of my favorite rides. Twenty Five + years ago we made our first ride down the Parkway. There have been many since then.

There are some great roads off the Parkway if the low speed limit / lack of twisties get boring. If you are into photography you can make the ride a week long affair with plenty to shoot.

I'll post the other 3 parts as they are published.
Blue Ridge Parkway at 75 - a road out of time
Please do, I'll be waiting to read them. A buddy and I rode almost the entire length of the BRP about 5 yrs ago and was amazed that we didn't scream through it (over the 45 mph speed limit) although the road in areas begs to be ridden faster than that. It's such a pretty area that going any faster is a shame so we saved our terrorizing for other roads. :D
