I saw another guy do the same tandem flight with an older dude from Tibet! This guy had probably been Falconing all his life. Maybe 70 years, wondering what it would be like to be one of his birds! The look on his face, every time the bird came in and lifted back off, was priceless!

I flew hang gliders for 26 years (75 to 2001) and in the early 80's there was guy in North Carolina that did the same thing with a red tailed hawk and a hang glider. I flew with them at Grandfather Mountain, NC and it was pretty awesome. The funny part of that story is my dog (Alaskan Malamute) almost had the hawk for lunch! The bird was tied to his perch at the time and my dog went after it. The guy was pretty famous and had been in all the HG magazines, so my dog eating his bird would not have been good! But, I got him corralled in time and I avoided being the scurge of the flying community.

Okay, that's pretty bad ass. I want a falcon for the bike. I can mount a purch on the rear tail bag or a ram mount in the front!
