Dual Sport Riding in NYC

As the owner of an 02 KLR and since Saturday now also the ower of an 08 KLR I all I can say is "WOW." The ultimate Urban Assault vehicle. The way the $5,000 KLR left that red megabuck sports car was great.

However, as an officail member of the Geezers of America, this guy is not going to have to worry about Social Security not being there for him. I noticed that he had no gloves on and probably no other safety gear except the helmet to hold the camera. Sooner or later, a car door or turning bus is going to get him or some pistol packing irate pedestrian.

Well, they don't exactly lane share. They pretty much just ignore the lane markers in NYC.
