Here is my nominee for the prestigious Fred W Lame *** Video Award.

It's a little video of the back roads of New Brunswick as we ride to & from the cable ferries around Fredericton & St John...

I need to go work on my acceptance speech when Fred W makes the Award Presentation at NERDS.

Señor Feeter! You NAILED it! You've set a new standard for lameness!

(Well, maybe a couple of more minutes of bikes waiting for the ferry woulda been cool.

And who knew NB had that many minutes of paved roads?

And trees!! I pert near lost count of 'em.

I'm hearing that Maria Elena puts on a helluva rally.

But, all seriousness aside, thanks for the glimpse of CFR.

Your other CFR reports, and your photos, and your wordage - all HIGHLY entertaining, Bill. Thank you!

Undoubtedly the lamest I've seen here in quite some time...

Needs some nudity, or at least farm animals to liven it up a bit. ;)

Watched the video again Bill, many thanks Amigo. I woke up at 0400 this morning, thinking that Miss Lucy Liu and I had to ride another 800 miles today; but damn, the CFR 2011 adventure is over. 116F degrees in Phoenix tomorrow (113F today!), I wish Seth and I were still riding the cool Canadian Maritime Provinces! https://weather.aol.com/forecast/7-day//usa/arizona/chandler/id/usaz0034

Bill, I always enjoy your videos. Your music selections and special page turning effects make them quite entertaining. Now, I'm just learning... I must visit for some video editing tutorials and advice on some technical issues......

I had shot some video with my GoPro during CFR, and later on the way to the Gaspe. I got some good stuff, and went to review it when we reached Perce at the end of the day. Seems my 32 gig card crapped out, as no computer can read it.... ooops. So, water under the bridge, I loaded a known good 16 gig card.

Next day we reached Gaspe and beyond the city were some great video opportunities, so I stopped, turned around in some cases to re-run the great road... the coastline views, impressive elevation changes, twisties, etc. were spectacular. At the end of day 2, I reviewed the shots.... oh yeah, they were shots all right. Just a few jpeg shots.... seems I had pushed the power button one too many times and had changed the recording mode to jpeg. CRAP!!! Now I have to go back again!! Er, uh, well we don't have to do any editing this time....... technical issues might be resolved after you whack me up the side of the head with a 2x4.

I did a quick google on max size sd card for the GoPro since some cameras have an allowable max size. I read in one forum that while it is possible to use a 32 Gig card in the GoPro lots of folks are having problems with some cards and it doesn't seem to matter what size of card. It seems to be a camera issue according to these folks and you just need to find a madel of card that works and stick with it.

As far as batting you upside the head with a 2x4, I would be happy to oblige.

I think (know) my 32 gig card is pooched as no device can read it... recognize it's there, yes, but it won't go into the file mode. The failed one is a Sandisk. Not a problem, 16 gigs is fine. I'll just get a spare 16. Panasonics are the best and usually a little more pricey.
