A Quickie

Got my new personalized plate from the DMV on Friday… slapped that sucker on and took it out for a little jaunt on Saturday.

For those who need bigger type (yeah, that includes me too!)…

I wish I could tell my East coast friends that we are having a horrid winter and suffering terribly… but we’re not. Morning was Mehran’s Transformer Ride (9, Skyline, Black Rd., Old Santa Cruz Hwy, Summit Rd) and a stop at the Summit Store. I had to be back for a 1 p.m. appt so stayed for a little lunch and then headed back for town the long way round. Backtracked along Summit to Old Santa Cruz Hwy, then detoured onto Aldercroft Heights to Alma Bridge, which winds its way around the back side of Lexington Reservoir. Not much traffic, blue skies, and warm temps. Pics are from my camera phone as I had thought I wouldn’t have time to take any so didn’t take the big rig.

Somewhere along Aldercroft Heights, the bottle brush is in full bloom…

Yup... when I first brought it home, I took my daughter, Shannon, out to the garage to see it. I said it needed a name and the first thing out of her mouth was "Clifford!!" It stuck and it will always make me think of her while I'm out riding. B)
