Thank you friends for reading my ride report, and offering your warm replies.

Turk - BELIEVE me, the honor was all mine. I had such a good time at your place and I sincerely hope one day to return the favor. You and Jena are always welcome at Chez Pants

Mark - we had a wonderful trip, my friend. I truly enjoyed every single minute. It seems I spend my whole life planning and reporting on the past. It was so much fun to just live a few days in the moment. Let's not wait so long to do it again.

Mihalas - I'm told you too sir live in a beautiful country. Your home is on my bucket list for sure. One day....

Andrew - you absolutely made the RIGHT decision. I was so thrilled that you and Pop could make it. Frankly, we are just down the road from each other - let's get together soon and share some miles.

Madam Farrier - the pleasure of meeting was most assuredly all mine. Your youthful and invigorating personality is something I shall not soon forget. Looking forward to sharing some more ride reports with you in the future. I'll correct the mileage error, but let's be honest - it's really only a matter of time before that number is accurate!!

Neihart - A man of your stature and experience knows the important things in life when he sees it. And SURELY, pie is high on that list. The truth is, while I do get my mid-afternoon sweet tooth every day, at home, I very rarely satisfy it. But on the bike, in adventure mode, the anticipation of it at lunch is almost as good as the satisfaction of it. And that hold true whether I know where I'm going for the treat, or not. I get that "kid on Christmas morning" kind of feeling, which so rarely happens in the real world for me. The treat itself is somewhat secondary really to the excitement of its coming. I hope that makes sense.

Doug - I enjoyed being with you. From the word go, I could tell that you have EXCELLENT taste in motorcycles. After all, you picked the fastest color. However, and please do not get offended, but I implore you to labor intensely round the clock to hold on to your sweetie Lorrie. I think I speak for all of us when I state that CLEARLY she is WAY out of your league in every sense of the term. I hope your luck continues for a very long time.

Cheers!!!

Great read, feel like I was there.

Your thoughts on Aunt Jim made me listen to John Prine's Hello in There.

And like you, I like a little time to sit by the water and get lost.

And now I feel thirsty.

Awesome ride report Pants. I am still kicking myself for getting sick at the last dang second. Here I am with all this vacation time (7 working days) and not a clue what to do with it. I'm thinking I may be able to pull something out before Christmas if the weather holds up. Maybe a trip to Dallas and Louisiana is in order.

Awesome write up and needless to say I missed a bunch of good times by heading out from Barber on Saturday. I so enjoyed the riding and more importantly meeting quite a few characters for the first time. Again, I can't thank Pants and Nate for hiring me on as junior cub rider apprentice straight from a single PM I sent to Pants a couple of days before the actual event.

Wow, that was a great story! I can't imagine how long it took to put it all together. Thanks for the time and effort to share it with the rest of us.

You sure get a lot of neat pics of people...and of course, food ****! When I'm on the road, I usually snap pics of the bike or scenery, or some combination thereof. My wife wants to see more of me in the shots, but I suck at selfies. And when eating, I never remember to get a good food **** shot. I'm too busy chowing down.

Thanks again for the effort.

Pants, I read your report and I was there!

Thanks for the excellent recant of your sojourn.

I do not, however, believe a word about Cavanaugh being useful. JSNS

Mr. Pants,

We've not met nor corresponded but I already have a healthy dislike for you (jealousy is an evil thing!). I'm absolutely green with envy. What a magnificent ride report. You have a gift for words and storytelling.

How wonderful to hear that Ms. Julie is still charming and that Brandon is still handing out maps - that can be an expensive and rewarding proposition (DAMHIK).

You've sold me on SFO. I look forward to meeting you at another and sharing rides and stories.

Thank you so much for taking us all along. I thoroughlly enjoyed it.

Mark
