A short ride to end an awesome year

Hi guys.

Happy Christmas and a merry new year! As the year comes to an end, I thought I'd take one final ride. Did a two up with the SO up to Fraser's Hill, one of three popular highland retreats in the country. Went up from the west and down the eastern side. Entire trip was only 170 miles or so entirely on back roads.

I did not take many pictures as I was mostly enjoying the roads. Here are the few pics that I did take.

Along the way up, there is a dam. This is from one side of the dam...

Took a short break after going through 70 miles of twists and turns...

This is actually from a previous trip. Since we didn't go all the way up this time around, I just thought I'd put in this pic to show what the place looks like up on Fraser's Hill.

Before heading down the east side, we had breakfast at this stop.

Those are bottles of honey on the table taken from the hives of wild bees in the forests...

Of course I have to have some semblance of machoness about me...

We started our descent on the east side of Fraser's and took these.

Thanks MojaveFJR. As a matter of fact, I was actually discussing that with the wife. Not so much for her but more for my 13 year old son and 15 year old daughter when they pillion with me. Haven't really gotten round to take a serious look but it would definitely be good for the kids.

Thanks Bug. No. No leeches. And definitely not Tigers. I think that write-up is no longer accurate, as far as the tigers are concerned. You'll only find them further up north, near the Thai border. Over here, it's too developed for there to be any tigers roaming around.
