Abs and engine light come on when clutch is pulled in

My engine light and abs warning lights come on every time I pull in the clutch lever and turn off as soon as I let it out. Any ideas why?

I'm just guessing on this one. There is a switch in clutch lever to show its pulled in. Safety issues so bike won't start in gear with side stand down.

Engine will start in gear if side stand is up and clutch pulled. Ever stalled engine pulling out and just pulled in clutch lever and restarted . No need to go back to neutral to restart.

Maybe that switch is shorted tripping ABS and engine light.????
