Ok this is my first ride report I have ever done so please bare with me. I thought I would do like the Geek's did and post a report on a daily basis since it will be easier to keep up with. My wife and I arrived at the KOA in Lake Placid NY about 6:10 yesturday evening and will be here for two nights then Monday morning pack up and head to another destination. Here are some pics
Ok here is the FJR all loaded up and ready for the trip

Ok so that is day 1 of our motorcycle camping trip we still have 6 more to go. Today is day 2 were want to try and make it up to White Face mountain if the weather cooperates so we will see how that works out.
Oh and for those who are curious about how the FJR towed the camper I thought it did a great job. It handle the camper well. It stops great even with all that weight back there. You can feel a little tug on the bike when you get into really rough road but over all it pulls about the same as pulling a trailer behind your vehicle. Except you get to lean the bike in the turns which is kind of different with a trailer behind you. The camper has the torsion axle which seems to handle the bumps really well.
