Adverse weather riding

Many years ago I was heading S. on hwy 6 from Pincher creek to Waterton lakes in Alberta on my 87 Concours, wind was so bad the ducks would jump up from the ponds and fly backwards, my helmet was getting blown halfway around my face my face

Just a note from seeing Geezer's post: check the state law for where you are on the use of flashers while under way. You're not gonna go to jail for it or anything, but it's not legal in a lot of states; flashing hazard lights are assumed to indicate a stationary hazard on or near the roadway.
