The R-3 has pit zips and an across-the-shoulder-blades vent. With the zippers centered in the back vent and both pit zips open, you can get a nice breeze completely through the suit. I use mine to commute in Atlanta, and it's warm in the evening, but not hot. On longer trips, I have been known to spill water on my chest and back, which gets mighty chilly when the wind hits it -- for the next 15 or 20 minutes..

The 'Stich takes fewer than 15 seconds to put on and less to take off. Also, after I do my Clark Kent/Superman thing in the office parking deck, it rolls up very compactly and fits in the starboard hardcase. Try that with separate jacket and pants.

Of course, I'm not an Aerostich model, like some people around here ....
