I have an Aerostich Roadcrafter two piece that is ... 10 years? 15 years? old.

Pants are almost mint. The jacket hasn't been used in 3 years or so. In my eyes (jaded) it looks in 'good' shape. The reflective surfaces are basically non-reflective anymore, but could be replaced. The neck roll I have had replaced before and needs it again.

I was going to give it to the Salvation Army. My wife told me it was junk and should be thrown away.

What does the collective think? Junk? Donatable? Anyone want it?

Sizing: the jacket has 3 tags: XL, 40, and 'Custom'. The pants say L, 40 and 'Custom'. It's Red, with Orange at the knees, elbows and shoulders.

Definitely not junk. Two or three hundred and it could be nicely refurbed.

Look inside the jacket's outside breast pocket. Probably written in black marker will be the date it was made.

Just to clarify: I loved my RoadCrafter 'way back when, but I haven't worn it regularly for years. I have other jackets that I like more.

My choices are 3: trash it, give it to The Salvation Army, or... give it to someone that might like it.

Daggerbreeze asks: how much? Answer: postage. I'll run it through the washer one more time, put it in a box and ship it. I'd like to get the postage back.

I can take a couple of pics, but I'm not great at posting pics on the forum. Simple instructions, anyone?

Post it up on one of the BMW forums. The road creed alone will net ya some big $$$ from the BMW crowd

If no one here takes it, you might donate it to the local motorcycle safety program for a newbie to wear...seems they never get around to ATGATT for a few years......ff
