Air box modification question

Just my 2 cents

I've had a K&N on two of my four wheeled cages and saw none of the claimed improvement. I did it for gas milage improvement not performance. If either were there, I did not see it. But the wash and re-use was nice. Keep in mind when adding up those costs of paper vs K&N to add into the cost of the $10 wash and re-oil kit.

Hehehe, back in another century, I had K&Ns on my 750 Ninja. My "wash and re-oil kit" was gasoline and whatever oil was handy!

Sacrilegious? Maybe.

I bought my last K&N wash/re-oiling kit in 1998. I am not even halfway through either bottle. The **** just lasts forever. The price of the kit adds trivial pennies to the overall costs.
