I was out scouting for CFR yesterday.

The leaves are just starting to turn up in the Laurentians

If anyone was planning a run out to see the colors in Algonquin \ Madawaska Highlands \ Laurentians then the weekend of Oct 3rd & 4th 2009 looks to be the peak.

Chris

hopefully someone gets some pictorial evidence and posts up ????

please???

thx

Mike and I (and anybody else interested) are going to do a colour ride through the Gatineaus and Mont Tremblant. Maybe we should try to organize a real ride.

As I said just turning

My place then, we have beds for 2, couches for 2, more floor for another 10 or so, the hot tub and the barbq will be on, the beer fridge full and there's the river if you want to swim (just possible in Oct)

Thanks for the teaser shot Chris!

I hope one (or more) of you guys can catch some shots at the peak and post up.

My dad was a PoW in Quebec and he always wanted to go back and see the fall colours one last time. Alas, we didn't get there before he passed. It's now on my bucket list to do, for him...

Would love to see some pics. :)

Another teaser this is from 2007.

Unfortunately we lost the big oak on the left so I've got no place to hang the hammock.

Rob and I talked about heading out to your place Chris. Looks like were in for the first weekend of Oct. I'm gonna talk to my buddy Mike tomorrow.

Just got back in from EOM. Colours through the Parry Sound area advanced remarkably over the week. Probably around 35% at the moment.

Curosity got me. I guess being an old guy I am not really hep to acronyms. PoW is not prisoner of war is it.

The light on Saturday was amazing, these are actual, no photoshop, I only used a circular polarizer.
