Very nice Michael.

Good to see your up riding again an clearing your head.

Thanks for taking me an Dolly along for a spell :)

An insightful, in-depth report --- most worthy. Thanks Shiny :)
+1, Gunny! Outstanding Ride Reflections and powerfully written!

You join a list of great Irish writers such as Joyce, Swift and Yeats!

Twas going to compare you to Oscar Wilde, but I save that for OM!
Oh yeah? Well, Wilde is a lot funnier than those other fellows,

and I know you've a healthy appreciation for smartasses.

Shiny, all seriousness aside, it's good to have you back,

...ya *******. :D

Must say at first, I wasn't sure I wanted to read a RR with no pictures, even skipped it the first time through, but glad I came back. It had plenty of pictures, the best kind that require thought and imagination and provoke something from within. You didn't just share snapshots of scenery but snapshots of you too and all of us that can relate so much to what you so eloquently wrote. Thanks, well done!

Actually, in our native Gaelic, that would be "Ye Bag O'Dicks"! Slainte'

Excellent ride report.

Thank you for taking the time to compose it.
Thanks. :clapping:

Really enjoyed it.

Seems like those first crisp rides in the spring are that way up here in snowbound land...remind me of the underlying reason I ride. Clears the head...and puts happy thoughts and joy in its place.

P.S. Just what the f**k IS your avatar anyway?

Well, I "think?" his avatar is of a wood rat who lives in the Fog zone, and who once in a while pinches himself and says "what am I really about anyway?"

His Answer is "Sorry but...I gotta roll!" :clapping:

Ever seen Roller Ball with James Cann Let's Roll?

I luv ya Michael, you are a bakery nut, just like me!

Glad to see you back on a bike. Amazing what a few miles can do 'eh? I remember that ride. I was (still-am) honored that you shared that ride with me (I seem to be in good company in that respect). Thanks for taking me again (since I ended up with the '03, we'll have to do it again!). Great road, good friends and ice cream. They say the best things in life are free, me I think they are 'effin priceless.

Ok, Mangina shored up:

Welcome back ya goat ****** Irishman!

You are one lucky dude... you have so many friends to dis in your ride reports.
see any post by Old Michael responding to me for proof it goes both ways.

P.S. Just what the f**k IS your avatar anyway?
Man, you sat beside me at WFO and asked me and the wife the same question. Didn't you hang on every syllable we uttered in answer? :p Getting a bit forgetful in your older years Hans? ;)

Welcome back ya goat ****** Irishman!
Be jayz, Gregory, yer bein' a bit hard on the Beaver stud, ain't ya?

You'll end up on his sig line, ...for lack of something more compelling.
Just for you you Old Yella Head...

they say a picture is worth a 1000 words but i got the picture and no editor was needed it was like taking a ride in the cold fall by your self thinking back to the same route you rode with good friends in the warm summer oh how you wish you could have that time back but you cant all you have are great memories and the thought that i cant wait for next summer. welcome back

Hey Shiney,

I have to chime in and say, I truly enjoyed your report. Those were (a bit more than) two minutes well spent!!

Yeah, we all love to see the pretty pictures and imagine ourselves being there.

But with your words I felt like I already was. Fantastic job.

And it's so very nice to hear that you are back in the zone.
