Meeting point will be Starbucks @ 475 Foothill Blvd # M La Canada Fltrdg, CA 91011

Need a place to eat around Fontana Rancho Cucamonga area. Any suggestions?

This will be a typical group ride. I would like to break it up into three groups with three group leaders. Fast group, Spirited group and 5mph over the speed limit group that want to take in the scenery.

Just a reminder - the CHP is ever present on Angeles Crest Highway on weekends, enforcing the 45 mph speed limit...

Dang, ought to be a good ride.

As stated take it easy up there past the ranger station towards Newcombs. Usually a bear around there somewhere on one of dem fancy BMW's.

Simon you know I will fail the costco lot challenge every time. Why must you always tempt me with that?

Is this ride still on?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I am actually going to bump this up to this weekend. I got roped into work the weekend of the 16th.

For all those that want to see Angle Crest Saturday the 9th let me know. Depending on the response Ill either make this a group ride or a random get together.

Women get Valentines DAY and Mothers DAY. I dont see the word WEEKEND anywhere in there. Mothersday is Sunday, you get Saturday to ride. Run Fathersday weekend by her and see what she says to that.

I can join this Saturday for a ride :yahoo:

I was in Wrightwood on Sunday and the 2 is still closed in Big Pines. What type of food are you wanting in Rancho/Fontana? I can help out with that part since I work in Rancho and live next door to Fontana.

I'm bummed to say this but.... I'm probably going to pass, my leg is still healing.

Commence the attack... now!

BTW - Change the date on the original post.

OK I'm confused, which is a normal state for me.

How are you getting from Angeles Crest to Fontana?

As stated Angeles Crest is closed at Big Pine and has been for over a year.

I'm in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How about meeting up at our Starbucks or in Temecula at the Hwy 15 and 79 South exit. There are two gas stations immediately west (just other side of Hwy15) where we can group up.

What time El Capitan?

Angle Crest was suppose to re-open late April. I will call Caltrans to confirm.

Just got off the phone. The bridge is complete. HOWEVER, they are in the process of clearing the entire roadway from "winter debris" so now the whole road, begining to end, is closed until May 20th. God Freaking Hates ME.

Any other ideas for a ride???
