Angel Crest Highway Ride

Angle Crest was suppose to re-open late April. I will call Caltrans to confirm.
Just got off the phone. The bridge is complete. HOWEVER, they are in the process of clearing the entire roadway from "winter debris" so now the whole road, begining to end, is closed until May 20th. God Freaking Hates ME.

Any other ideas for a ride???

Big Bear Loop? Lunch in BB then you southerners can split towards home once we hit the 10. There is a 711 gas station and Starbucks right off the 15 at Hidden Valley we could meet at. It is the first exit after the 91 fwy.

I just checked the temps at big bear. 76 for Saturday. Sounds like riding weather to me. However can we reverse the ride? There is a Starbucks at 38 and 10. Start there and do that loop. Meet up/ kick stands up at 9:30? How does that sound? BTW I will be two up on this one.

I added the same starbucks we met at during last years BB ride. After lunch we can all decide on the rest of the loop. Some people might want to go down the 330 and back to the 215 towards San Diego while others (like me) want to go thru crestline/silverwood and back to the 15.

By the way, Rt. 243 out of Banning is a great ride south - long but very nice!!!!!!!

Hey SoCal folks - How about we meet in Temecula, say about 8:15 ksu? I would suggest at the Shell station on Temecula Parkway/79 just west of the 15 (first Temecula exit going north). What say you?

Just curious, who's going on this one? Sounds like a small group this time around.

Official meet up is Starbucks in Redland.

And just to clarify, that is the southern 79 (Temecula Parkway), not the 79 that is about 3 miles north (Winchester).
