Based on the poll and a couple of emails I recieved, the "I don't care whens" and the "keep it's" have won out. So, go ahead and post up if you are going to ride this on the 18th. Tonyrob, you are more than welcome to ride with us as always. Slappy, let me know which list to add you to. I want to get the ride numbers solid by next Wednesday so I can get info from the Restaurant and get them a head count prior to that Saturday. I will probably contact them soon to make sure when they open and that they will be able to handle a group of roudy FJR riders. :fans: :dirol:

Yeah, it was rather wierd because there were votes but nobody else has signed up with those votes or since. I need to know by next Wednesday how many folks are going so I can get a count to the restaurant.

Unlike the NorCal crowd, the people down here can't seem to get it together. "Oh, I got better things to do, blah, blah, blah"

MM2, you sure know how to rub it in good. MsNASCAR and I often reminisce about our favorite NorCAL roads.

You don't want to forget Skaggs Springs Rd out of Healdsburg heading to Hwy 1. That last mile looks like a scene out of Jurastic Park.

There is hwy 128 that use be out our back door to Calistoga and then branch off onto 29 to Clear Lake or stay on 128 to Geyserville and then pick up 128 again off the 101 and continue on to Fort Bragg, but stopping at our favorite winery on that road, Navarro, and through some of the BIG trees at Navarro Red Woods.

Speaking of redwoods, one must ride (slowly) on the Redwood Hwy 254 (giant redwoods). It straddles Hwy 101 before you get to Fortuna. We stopped there once to take in the big trees and pictures, when to our delight, a 30+ parade of vintage cars rode by.

Do you guys mind if an infidel joins? I don't have an FJR (yet) but am interested in them, and this route is one I've been meaning to do sometime anyway.

Dave you are insane for having a 7:30 am ride. Ill be there but Im not happy about it. I got out of the Corp for a reason, Im not a morning person.
